I like nature photography. Here in IL. with the seasonal changes it is wonderful to be out doors with a camera. I also like macro photography. Up close things look so different it is amazing to see. I also like structural photography.
My favorite photos to take are of both nature settings and urban settings. I grew up spending a lot of time in Colorado and Northern Wisconsin and now spend a lot of time in Chicago.
I also like both nature and city settings. Travel photos (more professional ones, i.e., not my vacation photos) and settings including people are also good - I guess I like the human interest aspect they can depict. Basically, any setting that is interesting or different.
I like to take candid shots of people acting naturally, get 'em when they least expect it. I believe that spontaneity is one of the best aspects in life and it should be captured in the moment. Architecture fascinates me as well; the spontaneous vs. the static image. Texture and composition are important as well, but I'll take happy accidents over just about anything.
As I get more and more into digital photography the photos I like is expanding. I like a variety of photos beginning with nature going to athletic action shots to macro photography. I also like taking portraits.
I like nature photography. I like to track through fields to get that picture that is out of the ordinary. I also like photos that encourage the viewer to look at things differently.
i like skate photos, or rollerblading (tricks) shots more specifically. i grew up looking at skating magazines and ive grown to appreciate these more than anything. i like upclose fisheye shots especially.
I'm into night photography (you could tell when you see the thousands of flashbulbs in my basement!). They especially look great when the subject stands still while the background moves in a X-second exposure.

I like photos of man made objects (old cars, guitars, buildings). especially those with interesting color schemes.
